Ok, just Movie name. I stuffed up the clues too.
First time, my bad. Sorry. Here's better clues.

It is a 2014 American action thriller film directed by Kenneth Branagh. Chris Pine, Kevin Costner, Branagh, and Keira Knightley star in leading roles. The film features the fictional character ######### . created by author Tom Clancy.

That's not Matt Damon, is it?

Yes, spot on Moonlitroads! Well done.

I only saw it for the first time just recently. It was great and a mate says there's a sequel? high octane adventure drama. Loved the restaurant swap scene.

Cheers, Dan

Yes, I did suspect that this was the film you meant and had mistaken the fact that Damon appeared.

Damon and Costner did appear in a film together, "The Man Who Saved the World", a political thriller, set during the cold war, but it was a semi documentary/drama with Costner interviewing a stand in for the Russian, Stanislav Petrov, who refused to believe the US had launched a pre-emptive strike on Russia in 1983 and argued that it was a false radar reading and that Russia should not immediately retaliate until firm data could be provided.

Using recreated scenes and actual footage the story of the events surrounding this episode in US-Russian relations and it's potential impact on the world is told in dramatic fashion. The film was made by Danish documentary film maker Peter Anthony.

This is one of the best parody movies of all time, and so very funny, almost every line is a classic. however, as was quite common in its day it has two titles,at least down here, this was common in the day, and occasionally still happens to avoid things like copyright, IP issues or just cultural sensitivities. With this film the name was changed to avoid confusion with the "Airport" films at the time. Known as "Airline" when released in the States, we know it as "Flying High".
