Yes. I record it so I can fast forward all the bits other than the actual dancing. Also, if I don't like the music then I turn the sound down! Come to think of it, I may as well not watch at all, but the hysterical clapping every time there's a lift or some twiddly bit makes me cringe. If I hear another sob story or a "journey" .....

Love the women's dresses - and the Italian blokes!

I watched the first show on catch up, well actually I fast forwarded most of it, it’s ever more hysterical and I can’t be bothered with it, the music also ruins for me, as they do not match it to the dances and whoever let Angela Rippon on the dance floor in that dress without a pair of spanx higher power shorts should be fired !

So, it’s a big fat 0/10 from me.....

On Saturday my husband said, “ What a racket ! Is all that hysteria really necessary ? Switch it off for goodness sake. I’ve no interest in dancing, no time for so called celebrities, and it’s so noisy!”
I’m inclined to agree with him. I think there are too many couples at the start ( 15 ) to plough through.
I guess we will be giving it a miss this year ! Or maybe I will watch jt later on in the series.

We like it.
But I have to admit that the rabble rousers are a bit too much this season….it didn’t used to be this raucous.

We like it too, it’s cheerful, colourful and musical so good entertainment. Also Saturday night TV is awful so it’s the best of a poor lot.
I fast forward the boring bits too but at least there’s no adverts.

I've seen bits of it and enough to put me off, too many fillers and all that screaming from an audience on the verge of hysterics is the biggest turnoff of all. So no thanks.

One of the reasons I try to watch it is so that I have something to talk about with my husband 's sister. She is on her own and she loves Strictly.
