Teardrop Memorial

This Memorial is 100 feet high
And at the end of the Bayonne Peninsular stands
As a lasting condolence from the Russian people
In sympathy with many lands
For the Tragedy known as 9/ll
Where so many innocent lives were lost
Victims of this Terrorist action
A tragic Human cost
For it impacted on so many families
And the emergency Services too
Whose lives were sacrificed in their efforts
To get the survivors through
Tsereteli was the designer of the Memorial
The “Teardrop Memorial” by many it was named
And the cost of installing the memorial
A figure of 12 million pounds it was claimed
International was the grieve that was suffered
For all the poor souls that suffered and died
The Memorial a lasting reminder
Of the World wide tears that were cried
