Let me grow lovely, growing old,
So many fine thing do,
Lace and ivory and gold
And silks may not be new.
There is a healing in old trees,
Old streets a glamour hold
Why may not I, as well as these
Grow lovely, growing old?

correct me if I'm wrong but I thought it was considered good forum netiquette to include attributions if works by other authors are posted? So many times it isn't done.

This poem is by Karle Wilson Baker.

I did not know the author/authoress of this lovely poem. It was sent me on a birthday card recently by my sis in law. I thought it lovely so I posted it on forum for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you for saying who wrote it.

You're welcome.
