I'm having trouble changing my image from the rubber duck to an actual picture of myself. I have a picture I like, but it's vertical. It always gets changed to horizontal when I try to change it in my profile. I don't see any way to "rotate."

Any suggestions?

I see you have a profile picture and pictures in your gallery, so I presume you mean problems posting on the forum?

Here's another question from me. The avatar upload worked, but can you tell me how to upload a picture from a web site into a forum message? I can see how to right click and save the image, but then how do I get it into my note?

Thanks.

You can do it two ways.......attach using the Attachments link shown below then....Add files and add the picture you want to use that you have saved onto your computer then Insert in the post

Or use a site like Postimage where you upload your chosen image which converts to code and then cut and paste the code on to your post.

Happy to help.

I posted 2 images on Sunday. they came up much smaller than I wanted ?
I used the attachment paper clip.
I was not asked how large I wanted the images to be ?
I downloaded the Postimage but did not know how to use it

The forum has an automatic image resizer that was badly needed as some of the images that were being loaded were over 6mb. and these large images can seriously affect server stability.

Members have no need to resize images as it is done automatically by the system .
