I have over a 1000 photo's that have ended up on "WINDOWS LIVE PHOTO GALLERY".!!!
I have tried to e-mail some but I just get the following message, "THERE IS NO E-M PROGRAMASSOCIATED TO PERFORM THIS ACTION. INSTALL AN E-M PROGRAM."
Question --how or where do I find this program. am getting a wee bit frustrated looking, can some wise person point me in the right direction please. Thank you in advance.

I thought windows live photo gallery was finished, They now offer alternative apps.
Usually at a cost.
Microsoft photo programs end up costing a lot of money.
I use Hassel free lenox for everything to do with photo storage and editing. It's always free.
And far superior.

looks like uoy have not selected a default email programme for your windows device. what do you use for email? that needs to be made the default handler.

google for how to change windows 10(?) default email client

Thanks fer info, but I am on win7, my main mail is Yahoo, tho I do have a G mail address. S how can I move photos to either or is it not possble.

Have you tried "Attaching" a photo on one of your emails? When you start typing a new email, there should be a symbol like a paperclip in the icons to be used........this means you can "attach" a photo to the email.....I will be on top of the text box of the email, and the recipient can just click on it and it will open.
If you see the icon looks like a paperclip, when you click on it, you can browse your files for the photo or picture you want to attach to the email.

I have e tried the above but it is all dutch to me . But thanks fer reply anyway.tried sending photos to other address's such as yahoo but as said keep being told there is no set up fer this, & I hav

Ok, I have just been into Yahoo emails, and made a Yahoo email account for myself.
I then hit COMPOSE and typed into the address box, my own default email address.
Subject line I just typed TEST
In the main text box, I looked to see how I could attach a picture from my pc in there.
At the bottom of the text box is an icon shaped like a paper clip.
I clicked on that.
Up came a drop down menu
re:
Share files from Google drive
Share files from Dropbox
Attach files from recent emails.
Attach files from computer

I clicked on the last one, and it took me straight into my files and I was able to select a picture from there and it just jumped into the email, and I clicked Send.

If your photos and pictures are NOT stored on your pc, then I suggest you try one of the "Fixes" I posted above....

Personally I would never keep my photos or pictures on a "cloud" or any other place, other than my pc.....as sometime in the future they are going to ask for money for doing this.......
