All of mine where done under general anesthetic, my cycstoscopies are done using a local if just a quick look see, if they need to burn then its a general.

I didn't know they did use anaesthetics , i was never asked , first i've heard of that Sandgrounder ...

No anaesthetic offered or used. I too wasn't aware they were used here but my brother was anaesthetised for his in the USA as a standard part of the procedure.

I personally wouldn’t have had it anyway as I wanted to watch what was going on.

I had the sedation but it was like an anaesthetic as I was unaware of the procedure until coming round. They used fentanyl, it was a good sensation.

mine 11/21/23 along with endoscopic test glad when it is past but some concerned in results of it, something is causing my weight loss just had mri scan all ok.
