As we move closer towards fall and winter, it will be interesting to
see what unfolds with flu season nationwide, and other countries.

I am in that part of the world (Northern Hemisphere) where Flu shots are just starting to be given. I am to call this coming week to set up a time.

Our local pharmacist is inviting people to book them ; so much easier than going to a centre miles away. We will be booking ours next week. We should do anything we can to help the struggling NHS keep going through the winter.

It's just a matter of being sensible. We know the benefits of wearing masks, avoiding crowded places and washing hands. All we can do is continue these precautions and hope we don't catch anything. Personally, I think the hand washing is very important. When you consider the number of hands which have touched a door handle and how many of those hands will be teeming with germs, it makes sense to carry a hand cleanser and use it often.

We are having our Flu vaccines on Saturday at our GP surgery.

I have never had a flu vaccine and won't be having one this year either. As mentioned, hand washing imo is the most effective way to lessen one's chances of catching the lurgy. I can't say it's something I think much about at all.

We have rung our GP surgery and booked our flu jab appointments. They are for 1st November!!!!!!!!

I sure do not want the flu this year again, but fingers crossed...
