My wife is back in hospital after feeling more ill, She has had more scans and other things and the specialist said she is possibly getting a clot in her lung too! They keeping her in until at least Tuesday to keep up the injections they now giving her and to do what ever it takes to get rid of the damn things.
The specialist has told her don't worry as they have some new wonder dugs which can combat clots.

Her leg has resided and gone back to the size it was pre-clots so that's good.

Excuse me if I don't make much sense I am very tired I didn't get to bed until after 4am and I was up at 7.45am.

Oh dear, I am sorry to hear that Bruce.:(
Let’s hope this new drug soon has her feeling better and leads to a good recovery.

The wife has improved loads, she is looking good and her leg is still a bit painful but she says no where near as bad.
As it is bank holiday they can't do the scan on her lungs until tomorrow! (that's what they said) so if that scan is clear tomorrow she is going to be 99% sure allowed home.

She will carry on with meds and they going talk to her about ensuring they and she does all possible to avoid a repeat in the future.

My wife was allowed home even though the specialist decided she didn't need the scan they said they were going to do.
She has more meds than a crack house and she has been told to rest and do not miss any of the meds.
She will be seen again at the hospital in a week and we have been advised what to look out for and if anything is wrong or if we need to go back just go back.

When she was in hospital she was on the injections in to her stomach again which she had when she was pregnant years ago, a different drug than Clexane but she can't recall what it was called.
Now she is back home she is on tablets again and not the injections.
I don't know the reason why but as long as they work and get rid of the clots we are happy.
I think her leg is looking a bit bigger than it was the other day when I said it had gone back down to normal size but she says it isn't they measured it!
She is still in pain with it just not as bad as it was so fingers crossed the drugs are working.
She is fast asleep as I write and I am going to join her shortly,
Call me a sloppy old git but not being able to hold her hand or at least rest my hand on her side whilst we fall asleep has been a bit hard for me as I am so use to doing it, I think I may get a better nights sleep too.
Well some sleep it is 1.18am here I was watching a movie.
Time for bed.

The good wife is feeling and looking better, she is still taking the meds and still has discomfort in her leg but at least it is not agony any more.
I know she is getting better as she called me a useless old fart today lol. I went the shop and forget to get something she wanted lol
She is getting better as she has been sitting up in bed with her Oculus headset on being a passenger in a jet fighter and wow it is only for the strongest of stomachs as many get motion sick very quick. The wife doesn't she can handle it ok!
We keeping a close eye on her to ensure we get no hiccups but so far so good she is improving.
