I’m now at the point where two different MDs told me to not lose any more weight. Turns out this is not easy. I rarely feel hungry, so why eat? I used to take down a 8 oz burger with ease. Now a 3 oz burgers fills me up-- no room for fries. If I eat fatty meat-- lots of calories-- , it sends my blood sugar into the lookout for diabetics range. When I cut out dairy (saturated fat) and high fat meat, blood sugar dropped from 107 to 82, but more weight loss.
I don’t believe in medical uniqueness. Odds are I am not the only old guy or gal with this problem, so does anybody know how to stop Srs from loosing weight?
Has your doctor fully investigated for any health conditions that may have caused you to lose weight?
It can be caused by a stressful event like a divorce, losing a job, or the death of a loved one, it can also be caused by malnutrition, a health condition or a combination of things.
