Do you suffer? Anyone you know suffer? Things that help.
So many conditions, some are from injuries, falls, or existing
conditions such as Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Degenerative
disc disease, and many other things.

Things that don't help.

Things that might help.

Let's chat about it all...

OR about your knees, should have thrown that in also.

My lower back and knee conditions stay with me each
and every day as they have for some years. Sometimes
exercising and walking provide just a little relief, at time
massage therapy has provided a little relief, at other times
medication has helped a little, but for me the improvement
range from any of these are minimal and not a lot. I press on
and some days are rather difficult. Other days are manageable.

I have osteoporosis in my lower spine, which was responsible for my early retirement :( I know when I do too much gardening etc and even walking around town gives me backache.
I sadly had to give up doing Zumba because if it.

I know my limitations though and I just have to live with it now.

I had to give up Tai chi...:(
I have osteoarthritis in most joints...
in constant pain now...
have treated myself to an electric riser/recliner chair and a stair lift recently, a big help !

I had to give up attending the gym, went back for just a couple months this year,
but my present limitations no longer include the gym, just the things I mentioned
above in my first post.

Like Pats, I know my limitations and have to live with them now.

My past two years though, have ultimately been different, I have to gage everything
some days, including all movements, I will say, that I surely don't like it, but it is what
it is, dang my body is so completely different now, than as said, just two years ago.

I did a twelve week course with phsyiotherapists on catching the early sings of back problems and what exercise to do to combat it, also what exercise to do each day to keep my back pain free as possible.
When my doctor suggested the course to me I was thinking Ok whatever and doubting it would do any good.
I was wrong it was very good and I am so thankful to my doctor for suggesting it and to the physios who helped me.
That was 8 years ago and it still works today for me.

Sciatic pain down the bum cheek and down your leg is not nice so I advise anyone with pain ask the doc for physio.
