The Democrats are really gonna be pithed over this. All that money wasted on kids instead of the Hollywood elites handing it over to Senator Feinswein and crew.

Emergencies have always been the pretext on which the safeguards of individual liberty have been eroded.

Just goes to show...money can make almost anything happen.

The US college admissions scam toolkit: bribes, fake profiles and playing 'stupid’

Thirty-three parents were charged with fraud after paying tens of thousands of dollars to get their children into elite schools

Thirty-three parents, including Hollywood actors Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, were charged with fraud after paying tens of thousands of dollars to get their children into some of the best schools in the country, including Yale, Stanford, and the University of Southern California.

The 204-page court filing makes it clear they knew what they were paying for.

Loughlin and her husband, clothing designer Mossimo Giannulli, paid $500,000, according to the filing, to have their two daughters designated as recruits to the University of Southern California crew, or rowing, team, despite the fact they were not rowers.

Other children were presented as national level tennis players, or excellent soccer players. Singer put together athletic profiles listing achievements which never happened, and trophies which were never won, to send to universities.

Singer would then arrange for the children to take their exams at one of two exam centers where he had bribed test administrators. At the center a hired tutor would either take the test on the child’s behalf – the filing details how one parent sent Singer an example of their child’s handwriting so the stand-in could attempt to write in their style – or doctor their answers once they were done.

Money talks, even if the owner can barely read and write.
Another horrible example of one way for the rich, one way for the poor.

What fine and upstanding parents they are- sacrificing for their children that way!
They should be so very ashamed but I'll bet they aren't! I'm glad their dishonesty has been exposed publicly.

IMHO, "shame" is not in their vocabulary.

The Dems will probably use this as a reason the rich should be more heavily taxed. Maybe they'll design a "fraud tax".B)

The poor, bright kids who studied hard to get into some of these schools that were turned away due to enrollment limits. That is the real shame. Their lives ruined over the greedy rich who think they can just buy anything.
Wonder how their kids feel today, watching their parents go to jail?

I heard it cost several millions in bribes to for the well heeled to buy their dumb kids places into elite universities through all kinds of fraudulent means. People to sit your tests, photo shopping,...
Its immoral, its illegal, its unfair, its elitist, its just wrong.

I pray for the truly deserving kids and that these rich arrogant parents be made examples of. Give them all "F"s for Fraud!
