Some countries have banned the Roundup brand of weedkiller as it might be a cancer risk.

We had some in the shed, which I disposed of this morning, just in case the report is true!

A vitriolic poison that wipes out vegetation....... and you're suggesting people can't work out for themselves that it's extremely hazardous to human health???????

There is a difference though between "extremely hazardous to human health" where people can mitigate the risks by sensible precautions and potentially carcinogenic.

A perfect martini should be made by filling a glass with gin, then waving it in the general direction of Italy.

Never argue with an idiot......they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

APPARENTLY, it's not just the cancer-scare.
It seems that whilst one might target weeds, the stuff actually leeches into other vegetation and has the potential to cause all manner of genetic damage to 'good' plants.

Glyphosate-based formulations are the most widely sold and used pesticides globally. Glyphosate is virtually everywhere in the food chain. As a consequence, glyphosate is regularly detected in human urine. At these levels and even below, several converging lines of research in laboratory animals suggest that glyphosate-based herbicides may be endocrine disruptors and alter liver and kidney function.

I prefer weeds :(
