Writing, maybe some funny poems?

Or sketching.........try sketching some buildings near you. If you get good at it, try painting some flowers in water colours. smile.png

Are you any good at cookery? You could help your wife out with this. smile.png

Get a pot and put some bedding plants in it. You will need to water them when it is dry. smile.png

Hubby suggests that you keep some pets, like rabbits smile.png Or a budgie in a cage.

Best of luck anyhow.

What hobbies do you have?

Metal polishing, sounds silly but I have found there is a good market for motorbike and car parts which people want a quick sandblast and a nice polish on.
Need a garden shed at least, Small sandblasters are not expensive and the satisfaction of turning a standard alloy case in to a shiny like new one is very satisfying.

Aida - beat me to it - I was going to suggest writing - I started in my 80s - then I start writing on long journeys,
as I carried a home made folder - for all my writing materials - out of cardboard to take paper (all the folding paper & pens - I would need) - then write away.
A4 paper - folded in three ( gained by using letters - with the backs of them - not bring use + old computer
paper )
The other Idea I would suggest - is easier- copy the front of a packet - on stiff cardboard - a similar packet in
crayon - I did this - before writing - makes a long journey go - much quicker.- I did sweet packets - like Mars.

Making/drawing digital images is certainly a one-handed hobby. Download the trial of 'Xara Photo & Graphic Designer'. Draw some shapes and see what you and the program can do with them. Keeps me happy for hours.
