Like all doctors (G.P) , all hospital workers from doctors, nurses, consultants, porters, cleaners, etc, etc, the last 18 months have been incredibly difficult. Our doctor is and has always been absolutely wonderful, really caring, understanding, they listen to you, they hear what you are saying, they are non judgmental, getting an appointment, face to face appointments began recently, absolutely no issues whatsoever getting an appointment, I couldn’t thank all NHS workers enough for their dedication to everyone.

I rang in to ask about my swollen, and scabby, lower legs.

My hand phone battery packed up 40 minutes into the calling time.

Had to start again.

After twice being told they would ring me back, they finally did ring the third time around.

It was suggested I should get a blood pressure reading, so they further suggested that I buy a device to do this.

I bought one and sent the results in by email.

They said my readings were OK and I've heard no more for 3 months.

My legs are still as bad.

I buy my own relief cream, now, from the Chemist.

No clapping, on the doorstep, here!

The Doctors have been managing to jab the vacs into lots of people, though, presumably they are safe doing that!

Local advice, from other patients, is to go private!

Very happy.

We are lucky to have a very good practice that has been working well during these last months.

We have a call back system, where you phone in the morning and ask for a call back from the doctor, if the doctor thinks you need to be seen you are given an appointment there and then with either a doctor or the Practice Nurse depending on what the problem is…….this system has been in place for over two years now and it helps to stop wasted surgery time.

They are now fully open as normal and the system continues to work well, often you get an appointment the same day.
But If you ask to see a specific Doctor you may have to wait a couple of days.

Very pleased with all most of mine are personal friends I fish and shoot with so appointments are easy here when I visit one. I usually book another visit before I leave, I have 4-5 more booked this year with 1 operation coming up shortly. I am very pleased with my doctors here.

As previously mentioned, I have been in that situation of jabbing people during a lockdown when doctors were only doing phone appt's (was influenza jabs mostly then but same principle)

Of course the doctors or nurses do them somehow even though in lockdown - how else would the patients get vaccinated and us move forward with community immunity??

Risk vs benifit.

At risk to ourselves we did so - but in full PPE and patients in cars - drive through clinic.

But you couldnt do that for Covid as patients need to be under medical supervision for longer

Kaiser is my Medicare provider. I like my doctor and the specialists that I have used. They sent me to Scripts to have my heart surgery and that went well.
No problems with appointments. If my regular doc is not available another takes his place and they have been good.

As I prefer to have my appointments in the afternoon, have found they have always been able to accommodate my requests when asking for an appointment.

I phoned my doctor about some medication I have had about a year ago, was told he would phone me back that morning, I had to go out that evening to my daughters 60 miles away but took my phone with me, it rang but by the time I had stopped, the phone stopped, then my wife's phone did the same, I arrived at my daughters and the phone rang but I was fast in answering it this time, it was my doctor, he had also left three messages on my house phone.
I think I need some lessons on using my mobile, well that was what my daughter said.
