Yes always, I always do it even if there are 5 behind me with one or two items I let them all go.
I have to be honest when I am waiting behind two people and they have lots and only have 1 item and they just look and ignore me I think I wish my memory was good enough to remember your face as next time you are behind me with 1 item I am going to ask about every item they sell in the shop and take ages then I might search for my payment for ages too, lol

I never do though.

Yes, I always do when they are directly next in line behind me. I always check that.

Have been let in the queue on many occasions when I've only had a few items, always thank the person for letting me in. Have on a few occasions let someone in myself when I have a big shop and they do not. It's not as if I have yo dash back home for an important meeting with the DVD player.

Yes, always…but not an issue now as only one person allowed at the check out/cashier at a time….no one is allowed to come up behind you until you are finished and gone from the check out.

If I’ve a full trolley and the person behind me has a couple of items yes of course I’d let them go first. The only cost is a couple minutes.

Of course, it is pointless to expect them to wait until I have finished, when they only have a few items.

Because we shop daily we rarely have to bother the checkout operators and use the "10 items or less" self service tills but on the rare occasions we do we would always let people with one or two items pass.

I can't think of a supermarket near us that doesn't have a 10 items or less set up, even small ones like the Co-op.

Yesterday as there was only one of the self service checkout isles open and was in use. They pointed me in the direction of the small basket checkout section which I did use.

I always look into their cart first, make sure they made healthy choices. If she’s hot or old they go ahead regardless. B)
