If you are in line at the grocery store with a full cart
and the people behind you only have a few items,
do you let them go in front of you?

Yes I always do I do remember, however, when I lived in France and there was this little old lady with only a couple of things in her shopping basket, so I let her go in front of me only for her to empty her full shopping trolly on wheels full of goods lol

Why would looks have to come into it ? Why would you just not want to help, regardless of how they looked ?
There might come a time you are in a line up somewhere and the people in front might look back and think " not letting that ugly old git ahead of me " wink.png

Yes.

As the thread title implies, it is a matter of etiquette, and a courteous thing to do - and as others have said, I very much appreciate it when others extend the same courtesy to me.

A bit of friendly politeness makes any task or errand more pleasurable. smile.png
