I don't mind spiders, as long as I know what kind they are. There are some dangerous spiders in my area.
Here is a chart to, hopefully, identify the spider --

Really can't identify them, they all look squished by the time I look close enough.

Hi manofkent smile.png

I think the spider is too quick for you to catch, maybe it knows you have to go and get a glass jar to capture it.

Having a glass jar handy could help you outsmart the eight legged insect.

The spider I remove from inside the house every time is a 'black widow' which is venomous and hurts a lot if it bites you. I'll leave them alone if they are unobtrusive, if I remove them I use the Jane method.

Alas - the end was in sight for my Spider. I moved an old `Tesco` black carrier bag ( remember them
50p the fold up square variety ) - Then the spider ran out from it - we looked at each other - then IT ran -
I had to trap IT somehow - looking around I saw a rubber ring - so I placed it - over it - while I went to get
a glass jar + cardboard - I found a plastic wide top dish - so back to the Spider - It was STILL under the ring - so removing the ring - a quick swoosh It was trapped - I got the cardboard under IT - then a trip to the garden & released IT. - ( no animal was hurt during this encounter - including ME )

habibi - if I was to wait UNTIL I got a glass jar - I would have wasted a day - cunningly - I let IT come to ME

Most spiders in the UK we find in our houses prefer to live there so what is the point of putting them outside if their only going to come back in again?

I hate the things so I take precaution I use no more spiders spray and I haven't seen one in the house for a long time. I also use Jeyes fluid and a power washer to clean the paths outside the house maybe that deters them too.
