Hot.
The hospital was hot.
The journey there was hot, sitting in a queue caused by roadworks.
The return journey was the same......hot.

Hot,hot,hot

Having said that .. just looked at the outside temps and at 10pm we are still 26C .. eekk

96.8 F/35 C here today with lots of sunshine and wind about 70km/hr. We are to get some rain this evening but a lovely day. Spent 2 hours on the riding mower, mowing the law this morning and will go back at it tomorrow.
Hope that you are having a great day in your own way.

Another nice day here at the moment, but the forecast is for heavy rain later. Look forward to that if it happens.

It’s blue sky and sunshine now and beautifully warm......but it’s forecast to rain later which will be welcome for our water butts.

Yes they are I believe that picture was taking when people who want to fight the extremes do something they call The Killer Mile, I believe the distance is 1 mile from top to bottom from the railway crossing to the top where the pub was which is in my picture.
Here is a girl doing it on camera she is brilliant, to be honest unless you have been there you find it difficult to accept the steepness of that hill which becomes even steeper when you get near the top, it is hard work in a car lol never mind a bike. In snow 4x4s won't go up it, One fellow tried a track driven thing what they use in the forces and that failed in snow too. There is another way around it which is no where near as steep just a lot longer way around.

Cycling up the killer mile-respect to the girl.

Is it steeper than Porlock Hill in Somerset.?
My dad thought it was a good idea to drive us up Porlock Hill in his old Ford Cortina.
We came to a halt halfway up, and had to be "pushed" by a group of lads........got us moving again thankfully!
