From "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" 1975 with Jack Nicholson

Nurse Ratched was one of the most passive-aggressive, evil characters ever.

Anyone have a favorite character of any type, from film or fiction?

She sure was.
I liked another one of Nicholson's movies,
the Melvin character in As Good as it Gets :)

As good as it gets is a favourite of mine .
Also
About Schmidt , another quirky Nicholson character
and The Witches of Eastwick a devilish roll for him.

I think that Nurse Ratched was based on my Mother-in-law, who was, in fact, a nurse at the mental hospital that the movie was patterned on.
