I find this a very interesting question given that I struggle to keep my ego subdued as a life goal. I get to a point where I think I have gotten it down to a 3, and then something happens such that I demonstrate in reality it is at least an 8! Argh.

Don't think we can rate ourselves but others sure can.....depends on the situations at hand.....acting like a know-it-all or being humble and listening then speaking....

If people don't have the ego to rate themselves, then maybe this short quiz will help, it has 9 levels and to meet Frankie's criteria and keep the scoring consistent people will have to reverse engineer their score, i.e 9 becomes 1, 8 becomes 2, 7 becomes 3, 6-4, 5-5, 4-6, 3-7, 2-8, 1-9. I don't suspect anyone will argue with there being no 0.

And before you ask I scored 2.

Of course if some want to look inside themselves and give themselves an honest score I'm thinking Frankie will be happy with that.

Ok, I ended up as Gandhi but have no idea if that is good, bad or indifferent. Since it is mid-range, I suppose it is indifferent. And that was what I guessed I would be before starting the test.

BTW, I agree with PopsnTuff. I think it is for others to asses.

Well done! You’ve achieved a nearly perfect balance of inner strength, quiet confidence and courage of your convictions. If we ever need a calm, effective leader who can inspire people and deliver results, we’re calling you. Listen to yourself and you’ll go far, grasshopper.
